Medico-legal Fees

Standard Medical Report £300
Includes notification of appointment, interview and examination of client.  Does not include cost of any X-rays, or other investigations, and does not include time spent examining medical records, over and above the first hour.

Medical Report - clinical negligence £600
Includes notification of appointment, interview and examination of client.  Does not include cost of any X-rays, or other investigations, and does not include time spent examining medical records over and above first hour.

Failure to attend appointment  £100
At least five working days notice is required of any cancellation to avoid this fee being payable.

Examination of medical records and/or X-rays (per hour) £200

Court attendance per day, or part thereof £2000
This fee is payable regardless of whether actually called into Court, and therefore specifically includes time spent waiting outside Court.

Cancellation fee for Court attendance
If Court date is cancelled, with one week notice or less, the whole fee for the warned dates is payable.

If Court date is cancelled with notice of more than one week, half fee is payable.

Payment
Payment for medical reports is expected within three months from date of issue.
